There’s a new video out today for Grime’s ‘Nightmusic’, but it’s pretty boring so I’m just gonna show what I still think is the most fun video this year, ‘Oblivion’.
My recollection of the day Max Snow came to Huntington.
First off,the title above is bullshit. I don’t think I even saw the man when he arrived. My first introduction to him was when I was working as a doorman at one of my favorite restaurants here in town called Black Sheep . He looked like he did in the article and video Lusher had posted about him so I could pick out who he was. He had brought his mother with him on the trip. Both were dressed casually and were polite. I saw them when they left the bar at the end of the night and they both said goodbye.

Mike Vallely’s Elephant Skateboards
Last year Powell-Peralta announced that the legendary Mike Vallely would be returning to the brand and many rejoiced, but that relationship was short-lived. Vallely left for the third time shortly after and now has confirmed the launch of his own label, Elephant Brand Skateboards. The collection, arriving this Summer, is comprised of both modern street boards and sick 80’s sized boards cut from modern molds and concaved for street pop. As Mike puts it: “100% Skateboarding for love - For fun. No rules, no divisions, no schools… Just a skateboard as a paintbrush and the world as an empty canvas.” Rad.
